Huge Book Updates! Proof Copies & Cover Art!

A box of books with a hand holding one of them up close. The cover has an alley and the text: "Not for Resale"

Greetings! I just got my newest batch of Proof Copies for the sequel to The Axeboy's Blues, titled Ballad of the Reverie Organ! I think it's finally just about finished. I'm getting them to my test readers now to see if it all flows well with all the changes I made.

The cover above is just a temporary cover while I create the actual cover. It's my first time doing my own book cover, and I'm getting really into it. Here's what I have so far:

This is Edith with her Extraction Glove and a bunch of mems (memory creatures) running down her arm. I've only been at about 5 days and am so happy with how quickly it's turning out, since I haven't painted in about 20 years now. Also, I've been painting digitally, which I've never done, and it's proving to be really fun and addicting.

Hope everyone is doing well! Until the next update and/or adventure!

Digital painting rough draft of a woman weilding a large metal glove and wearing goggles, with tiny blue figures running down her arm and jumping off the glove.
